The Capital Pioneers women's tackle football team is the flagship program of the Salem Women's Football Association and proudly stands as the Pacific Northwest's premier team since 2020. Our mission is to empower and uplift female athletes through the sport of American Football, and our results speak for themselves. With an overall franchise record of 21-5 and three undefeated regular seasons in the past four years, we are the region's winningest team and the undisputed #1 organization for championship-level women's football.

The Pioneers compete in the Women's Football Alliance, the nation's premier women's football league featuring 60+ teams nationwide and international partnerships with programs around the globe. Our relentless pursuit of excellence drives us to compete for the WFA National Championship held at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. We take immense pride in our team's spirit of unity, resilience, and family as we dominate on and off the field.
