The Salem Women's Football Association is dedicated to creating football opportunities for women athletes at all levels. Flag football offers a great entry to learn about the "World's Greatest Team Sport" and can include opportunities to compete nationally and internationally. Flag football participation is growing at a rapid pace nationwide and organizations like the NFL are making a push to get flag football added to the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
 
Currently the SWFA manages 5 women's flag teams in the Salem area.  We are looking to add more teams.  We can assist in helping you organize a team for the 2024 season or If you have your own team of 10-15 people you can enter your team into our league as a full team. The SWFA is open to including any teams in the NW to participate as long as they can make all scheduled games. Please contact  flag@salemwomensfootball.com for more information.
